2024 Grant Season
We have reached our maximum of 100 grant applications for 2024. We are not accepting any further applications for 2024. Thank you to all of the wonderful organizations for their interest.
We will open 2025 applications in late spring.
Only nonprofit charitable organizations, exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, are eligible to receive a grant.
Grants are limited to projects based in the United States.
The Rumphius Foundation accepts grant requests up to $6,000.
Grants are made for activities that conform to the mission of the Foundation and have a completion date or other measurable outcome within a year of the project start date.
Grants are awarded for one year only.
If awarded, grant funds must be used only for the purposes for which the grant was made.
Organizations are required to provide a detailed update within 12 months of when the grant was made, preferably including a narrative description and images of the project activities.
