How to apply for grants
Grant proposals must be received by March 1st. Grants will be awarded in April. Any grant proposal submitted after March 1st will be considered for the following year.
The Rumphius Foundation makes grants annually. The Rumphius Foundation considers grant requests from non-profit, 501(c) (3) organizations with projects limited to those within the United States. Grants are made for activities that conform to the mission of the Foundation and have a completion date or other measurable outcome within the calendar year.
For those organizations wishing to apply for a grant, please provide: the name of the individual or organization applying for the grant; details of the project or activity for which you are seeking funding; how the project or activity furthers the mission of the Rumphius Foundation; the anticipated completion date (or other measurable outcome) for the project or activity; contact information (including a phone number, mailing address, and email address); and the amount of funding you are requesting. Our typical grant allocations range from $1000-$6000. Please attach any supporting documentation and additional information you would like us to consider in evaluating your grant application.
